The Six’s big murder secret is on the brink of exposure (again) in EastEnders, as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay) close in on Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
The men could be next in line to discover the truth, following in the footsteps of Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) son Johnny (Charlie Suff) and local copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) who
discovered Keanu’s death resulted in civil partner Denise’s (Diane Parish) breakdown.
In upcoming scenes, Phil feels down in the dumps, unable to speak with son Ben (Max Bowden) who is serving a six year stretch in America and daughter Louise who is living in Portugal on Father’s Day.
To make matters worse, he then discovers that Callum has failed to invite him to a video call with Ben.
Full of emotion, he heads to No. 43 to speak with Sharon about having access to their son Albie – who originally thought his father was Keanu.
Later, after noticing how Phil appears to be a changed man during a footy game with Albie in the Square, Sharon urges Callum to allow him in on the video link, but the topic of conversation quickly turns to Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), who was framed as the killer.
Little does she know, Phil’s already raised an eyebrow after noticing a strange text from Linda on her phone and the two men meet up at No. 55 to discuss their concerns.
When Callum mentions an usual comment he heard from Linda, Phil decides to use underhand tactics to ask her Linda upfront – but is stopped in his tracks by Sharon who has already tipped her off.
More determined than ever, Callum decides to do some further digging down at the police station and speaks with the detectives who worked on the case.
Jack is quick to swoop in and try and distract him, but will it be enough?
