IT’S one of the biggest storylines EastEnders has seen in nearly 40 years of gracing our screens.
But sharp-thinking viewers are clamouring for answers over a potentially huge plot hole as The Six
Last night, Dean Wicks made a shock confession as he fights to save himself after being framed for the killing of Keanu Taylor.
In actual fact, it was Linda who killed Keanu to save Sharon Watts’ life and the crime was duly covered up by the other women in ‘The Six’.
They framed Dean hoping he wouldn’t put it all together and accuse them of taking revenge on him for raping Linda years ago.
In a desperate attempt to get the jury to believe he is innocent, he decided to throw the dice and tell them the truth – that he attacked Linda, but he is not a murderer.

But now fans are calling out EastEnders writers for the apparent absence of Nish Panesar, who was involved in events just moments before the actual murder.
As soap lovers will recall, Nish was fuming at Suki after discovering she had an affair with Eve, causing her to flee from him. She ended up locked in at The Queen Vic with Denise, Linda, Kathy, Sharon and Stacey.
When Nish turned up, they let him in to speak with Suki and he pleaded with her to take him back, but she refused.
He then tried to grab Suki and drag her away, causing Denise to strike him over the head with a champagne bottle.
Nish collapsed to the floor and was mistakenly declared dead by Sharon, but Suki resuscitated him.

Moments later, with Nish still out cold, Keanu turned up, resulting in a violent struggle with the women that ended in his murder.
The Six then told police Keanu had attacked Nish from behind, before running away.
While Nish didn’t witness the killing, some fans say it’s strange he was not called in for questioning to provide a background to what happened.
One wrote on Reddit: “I’m seriously surprised he hasn’t been brought in for questioning given the fact he was also in The Vic during Christmas Day?”
EastEnders facts and figures
THE beloved British soap has been captivating audiences for decades.
“Yeah, that is a bit odd,” another wrote.
A third detective in the making said: “Hold on, they said Keanu hit Nish but surely Nish would remember something about it? Like when he came in angry at Suki.”
Meanwhile, social media is also aflame with rumours of another potential comeback during Dean’s trial.
Fans are waiting with bated breath for the reappearance of Dean’s mother, Shirley.
One wrote on Twitter: “Shirley better be back tomorrow.”
Another, who is loving the plotline, said: “Need Dean to be convicted and Shirley back this week to finish as strong as it started with Sharon accusing the lawyer of slut shaming her – this whole storyline is epic.”
