EastEnders’ Jamie Borthwick enjoyed a wholesome catchup with his former co-star Jazzy Phoenix.

The Nadine Keller actress shared a black and white snap of her and the Jay Brown actor, 30, via Instagram Stories.

She captioned the snap: ‘The weekly gossip = complete.’

Former sex-worker Nadine made a return to Walford in recent episodes and dropped a huge bombshell on Jay – she’s pregnant with his baby.Understandably, this came as a huge shock to Jay, who was in the middle of training for the London Marathon in memory of his wife Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold).The news of the pregnancy caused tension between Jay and step-daughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown), who soon found out about Nadine’s pregnancy and worried that she was set to be abandoned.It was recently confirmed that Jamie will be joining the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

He’s currently one of the longest-serving actors on EastEnders, having been in the cast since 2006.

‘I had a ball doing the Strictly Christmas special last year, so when I was asked to join for this series it was the easiest yes! This is a fresh challenge and it will be so different to be learning a new dance every week and for the public to have their say,’ he said, having competed in the festival special just last year.

‘I’m hoping to be Salsa-ing around Albert Square in no time and I’ll be asking my Walford Strictly alumni for some words of wisdom. See you on the dancefloor’
