There’s further heartache for Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) in EastEnders this coming week as he struggles to tell daughter Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) about the club crush.
Amy was one of several Walford residents who were seriously injured when Peggy’s became dangerously overcrowded last week.
The teenager suffered a cardiac arrest as a result of her panic, as well as suffering a fractured pelvis, with doctors placing her under sedation to help with her recovery.
The Fox-Brannings continue to be at her hospital bedside as she comes round from her coma.
Jack struggles as he has to tells his daughter about the extent of her injuries, as his ex Denise Fox (Diane Parish) supports him.
But Denise is later forced to keep a secret from Jack, when Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) confesses to her mum about her role in the crush.
As fans know, Chelsea inadvertently caused the incident after tampering with the club’s booking system in an attempt to sabotage boss Penny Branning’s (Kitty Castledine) event.
Police have since found evidence that extra tickets had been sold online through Penny’s login for the ticketing system, with Penny so far having taken the fall.
However, Penny remains determined to clear her name, with a guilt-ridden Chelsea starting to crack under the pressure.
Will Amy pull through? And will Chelsea be forced into confessing to the police?
