EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (June 18), which is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Sharon Watts has made a big confession about Keanu Taylor’s murder in the show’s latest episode.
Yesterday, as Karen Taylor left the Square once again, Phil Mitchell became suspicious about Sharon, amid Callum’s doubts that Dean might not have killed Keanu.
Phil saw a text on Sharon’s phone from Linda which said, “Karen gone, but Callum asking questions”, so he decided to confront her about the situation.
In today’s episode – which will air on BBC Two – Phil pleaded with Sharon to be honest with her as he could tell that she was hiding something, though Sharon insisted that there was nothing to tell.

Phil didn’t believe anything she said, and directly asked her if she was involved in Keanu’s murder and if she was in trouble.
Confused about Dean’s motive, Phil eventually came to his own conclusions and proposed that Sharon killed Keanu, with Linda covering her and framing Dean as revenge.
Phil was convinced of his theory and decided to head to The Vic to get the truth out of Linda, but Sharon stopped him leaving by confessing that it was Linda who murdered Keanu.
In an emotional scene, Sharon then explained the events of Christmas Day to Phil, including Denise attacking Nish and Linda stabbing Keanu to protect her – and admitted that Dean wasn’t even there.

Sharon also told Phil that Johnny and Jack also knew the truth about Keanu’s death, and when Phil questioned why she didn’t come to him, Sharon said that Albie needed his dad, should she go to prison.
The pair then reflected on Sharon and Keanu’s relationship, before talk turned to their own history and the first night they slept together back in the 1990s.
While Sharon said that they were “water under the bridge”, Phil implied that they were soulmates, and said he would always have her back.
As they discussed their future with Albie, Phil was concerned that Linda would spill the beans, and offered to hand her in to the police, in order to protect Sharon.

But Sharon explained that there was much more at stake, listing the implications for Denise, Kathy, Stacey, Suki and their families.
Phil eventually confirmed that he won’t tell anyone the truth, and as Sharon expressed her gratitude, the pair shared a kiss.
Do Phil and Sharon have a future together, and will Phil keep the murderous secret to himself?
