Bobby Beale is set to receive an almighty shock in EastEnders as the soap continues to pave the way
for his upcoming exit.
The youngest of the Beale clan is set to leave the BBC show, after actor Clay Milner Russell quit the role
he’s played for the last five years.
His character is currently involved in a love triangle, as his girlfriend Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) is wrestling with her growing feelings for their friend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
While Freddie has long been fighting his attraction to his best mate’s girlfriend, agreeing to keep his distance, Bobby and Anna’s relationship is thrown another massive curveball next week when she finds out she is pregnant.
Anna makes the discovery after admitting to Bobby that she’s been having a hard time of late, but he is called to an emergency at Beale’s Eels, and she turns to Freddie for support.
Freddie dismisses her, still trying to put some distance between them, but when Anna later decides to check if everything is OK between them, she suffers a dizzy spell.
She tries to speak to him again later in the week, but throws up in the café beforehand, arousing sister Gina Knight’s (Francesca Henry) suspicions.
Wondering if Anna could be pregnant, the sisters buy a pregnancy test – and are stunned when it returns a positive result.
Will Anna tell Bobby she’s expecting their baby?
Whatever happens, their relationship is on borrowed time, with Bobby’s exit set to air later this year.
