The actress, 48, took to Instagram on Thursday, 22 August to confirm that after 18 years, Jack had decided to end their marriage, sharing the news in a lengthy and heartfelt statement. Martine expressed her acceptance of Jack’s decision to part ways but assured they would continue to co-parent their son, Rafferty, nine.She also wished Jack “all the love, luck and happiness,” as he embarks on his new journey as a single man. However, Jack has now responded and broken his silence following news of their split.

Following the news, Jack told MailOnline: “There is nothing more to add. I will not be saying anything more about this.”

The actress dropped the bombshell news on Instagram, revealing it was her husband’s idea to split, reports the Mirror. She stated: “After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it’s best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision.
