EastEnders’ Reiss Colwell is set to face even more pressure as his lies continue to catch up to him.

Reiss has been struggling with his poor finances for a while, as he and Sonia tried to conceive through IVF. He began stealing from his comatose wife Debbie, as well as taking and pretending to invest Sharon and Phil’s money.

Unable to afford her care home fees, viewers were horrified to see Reiss kill Debbie and steal her engagement ring, which he later used to propose to Sonia.

However, with Phil hounding Reiss for a return on his “investment”, the latter sold Debbie’s ring to Eve, who then proposed to Suki.

In upcoming scenes, Sonia is upset that she can’t show Amy her engagement ring, believing Reiss was mugged and the ring was stolen.

When she later bumps into Eve and Suki, she sees the “stolen” ring on Suki’s finger.

Luckily for Reiss, Eve covers for him and says she bought it at a pawn shop. But Sonia isn’t easily convinced and corners Reiss for answers.

Can Reiss talk his way out of it, or will he break under interrogation?

Meanwhile, Phil is suspicious of Reiss and becomes increasingly restless for his money. Though Reiss paid him a small amount back, Phil still isn’t satisfied.

He summons Reiss to the Boxing Den and demands his money by Monday.
