Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is left reeling in upcoming EastEnders scenes, as she learns shock news about her son Louie.
Next week, things get off to a bad start for Lauren when bailiffs turn up at the door, demanding payment for an old credit card debt.
But her attentions are soon turned elsewhere, after she finds Louie playing football in the Square with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and
son Tommy (Sonny Kendall).
Lauren hits the roof when Junior questions Louie’s academia, and it is left to Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) to try and reason with her, and echoes Junior’s concerns that Louie might be struggling at school.A defensive Lauren soon softens after Kathy offers advice, and she later heads to The Vic to apologise to Junior, where they share a drink.
Junior and Penny’s suspicions are confirmed later in the week, when Lauren discovers her son is falling behind at school, and takes her frustration out on Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who she accuses of being insensitive.
However, she finds an ally in Junior, who offers to put her in contact with a friend who could be able to help Louie.

Lauren’s ex and Louie’s dad Peter Beale (Thomas Law) witnesses the interaction, but gets a short shift from Lauren when she tells him she’s in no mood for his sarcasm.
When he later tries to prove he’s there for Lauren and Louie, he ends up offending her just as she’s about to start a trial shift at the car lot.
Will the former couple ever manage to work things out?
