Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) finally received an apology from Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) in recent EastEnders scenes – albeit a lacklustre one.
There has been tension between Eve and Ravi ever since he tried to kill her on dad Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) instruction late last year.
Nish discovered Eve’s affair with wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) in dramatic scenes, after finding a video of them kissing on the Minute Mart CCTV.
Suki had been seeing Eve for months, and they had planned on several occasions to leave Walford together, though something always got in their way.
They were about to make another attempt at leaving together when Nish sent Eve a text from Suki’s phone, and drew her to Walford East for a final showdown, where Eve shared every detail of their affair.
In a bid for revenge, Nish instructed Ravi to kill Eve – and he very nearly went through with it.
After a dramatic chase through the woods, Ravi agreed to let Eve go, on the condition that she never return to Albert Square or contact Suki again.
